OUR HUMBLE RESCUE

The rescue is located in a 1940’s warehouse, adjacent to the railroad tracks, which once received and stored coal shipments.  Most recently it had been used as a sign-painting shop. It’s a very humble space.  Our dedicated volunteers have worked incredibly hard to make it more pleasant and functional, and we have come light years from where we started when we moved in on Thanksgiving '05.  There is a limit to what we can do, though.  As much as we paint,  fix electrical outlets, put in new lighting, patch holes, install cabinets, replace doors, and build new pens for the buns, we are in a warehouse, and it is what it is.

Here are a few photos from when we were moving in, to give you an idea of what we're working with.

Wouldn't it be great if the bunnies had a nicer space??
